कल्कि अवतार के संबंध में कई ग्रंथों में वर्णन मिलता है लेकिन श्रीमद्भगवद्गीता के अनुसार कल्कि अवतार कलयुग के समाप्त और सतयुग के प्रारंभ होने के समय पर होगा अर्थात कलयुग और सतयुग के संधिकाल में भगवान कल्कि अवतार लेंगे भगवान कल्कि के द्वारा सनातन धर्म की पुनः स्थापना होगी भगवान सनातन धर्म से संबंधित धर्म उपदेश देंगे जिससे कि यहां पर सभी पाप , अधर्म ,अशांति का अंत हो जाएगा सभी व्यक्ति परम ब्रह्म परमात्मा कल्कि की शरणागति ग्रहण कर लेंगे और सभी एक ही सनातन धर्म का पालन करेंगे इसके अतिरिक्त अन्य किसी भी धर्म का व्यक्ति पालन नहीं करेंगे शांति की स्थापना होगी सभी व्यक्ति भगवान की शरणागति ग्रहण करके धर्म का उपदेश का पालन करेंगे
There is a description in many texts regarding Kalki Avatar, but according to Shrimad Bhagwad Gita, Kalki Avatar will be at the time of end of Kaliyuga and beginning of Satyug, that is, in the period of Kaliyuga and Satyuga, Lord Kalki will incarnate and Sanatan Dharma will be re-established by Lord Kalki. God will preach the religion related to Sanatan Dharma so that all sin, unrighteousness, unrest will end here, all the people will take refuge in the Supreme Brahman, the Supreme Soul, Kalki and all will follow the same Sanatan Dharma, apart from this a person of any other religion Will not follow, peace will be established, all people will follow the teachings of religion by taking refuge in God
